In a chilling case of organized crime, the Karnataka Control of Organised Crime Act (KCOCA) has been applied following the murder of Abdul Rahiman in Kuryal village. Rahiman, 32, was brutally attacked and later succumbed to his injuries. Another victim, Kalander Shafi, was also gravely injured.

Authorities have arrested 13 individuals in connection with the murder, all of whom have been placed in judicial custody. However, Bharath Raj, also known as Bharath Kumdelu, is still absconding, with police intensifying their efforts to apprehend him.
