Robert Thomas and Otto Stenberg each had a goal and an assist to help the Blues breeze past the Blackhawks 4-0 on Saturday night in Chicago.

Aleksanteri Kaskimaki and Milan Lucic also scored for the Blues as Joel Hofer (eight saves in two periods) and Colten Ellis (10 saves in the third period) combined for the shutout in goal. Logan Mailloux also had two assists.

The Blues turned a scoreless game into a lopsided one during the second period, when they scored three times to build a 3-0 lead after 40 minutes. They also outshot the Blackhawks 11-2 during the middle period.

Kaskimaki scored at 4:04 of the second by driving the net on the rush and deflecting a Stenberg centering pass after Tyler Tucker sprung them with a long stretch pass. Lucic followed about nine minutes later by tipping
