The New Mexico House Democratic Campaign Committee didn't waste any time.
A day after the special session ended, the campaign committee made a fundraising pitch, saying House Democrats delivered for New Mexico's families.
"This is why our House Democratic majority matters," Walter Kappler, the committee's finance director, wrote in a fundraising email sent Friday morning.
"Next, we head into the 30-day session in January to build on this progress — strengthening healthcare, supporting rural communities, and improving the lives of families across the state," he wrote.
"To do that, we must protect and expand our majority," Kappler continued. "With the special session behind us, we are moving full speed into campaign mode: staffing up, providing critical campaign services to our frontline
