High-voltage drama unfolded in Kerala’s Thrissur after a son attacked his father with a sharp object and then locked himself inside the house for hours , threatening to commit suicide. After three hours of negotiation, police were able to take the man into custody. As per the reports, an altercation occurred between a father and son over property papers on Saturday. As the conversation escalated, the man allegedly attacked his father with a machete.

As per the local reports, the incident took place at the rented accommodation of the accused son, Vishnu, at around 1:30 am. The victim father, Shivan, an auto driver, reached his son’s house along with his wife to discuss matters related to property papers.
