Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday said that the viscera examination report of late singer Zubeen Garg will be submitted to the government by October 10. He also informed that the police are carefully recording every witness statement in the case diary. He clarified that the recent discussions in the media about “poisoning" were based on an accused person’s claim, not an official finding by the police.

“The police’s duty is to record everything in the case diary as stated by witnesses. Some will say positive things, and others will say negative things, and the police will continue to document it all.
