SRINAGAR : Police in Srinagar arrested two alleged drug peddlers during a midnight naka checking operation at Munawarabad and recovered heroin-like substance from their possession. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

According to police, the operation was carried out after receiving credible information about possible drug movement in the area. A police team from Police Station Khanyar set up a checkpoint and intercepted two individuals moving suspiciously. Upon search, around 12.84 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered from their possession.

The arrested persons have been identified as Umer Sheikh, a resident of Dalgate Buchwara, and Aqib Hyder Khan, originally from Dehradun and presently residing at Dalgate.
