PHILADELPHIA - What looked like a comfortable win turned into a crushing loss for the Phillies on Saturday night in Game 1 of the National League Division Series.

Tesocar Hernandez’s two-out, three-run home run off Phillies reliever Matt Strahm in the seventh inning propelled the Dodgers to a 5-3 victory in this matchup of baseball’s heavyweights.

The Phillies jumped on three-time MVP Shohei Ohtani for three second-inning runs and held the lead until the sixth when the Dodgers rallied for two runs with two outs.

After ace Cristopher Sanchez retired Mookie Betts and Teoscar Hernandez to start the sixth, Freddie Freeman drew a walk and Tommy Edman singled past a diving second baseman Bryson Stott for a single.

With David Robertson ready, manager Rob Thomson let Sanchez face one more hit
