But first, a note from his editor, Elizabeth Sullivan: I have had the privilege of working with Plain Dealer and cleveland.com editorial cartoonist Jeff Darcy for more than two decades, and as his editor since 2009, experiencing a glorious cascade of wonderful cartoons, full of wit, wisdom, a sense of humanity and, frequently, an astounding visual breadth of scope. Jeff, a Pulitzer-Prize finalist for editorial cartooning in 2013, is hanging it up after this week, and I am so sorry to see him retire, but also grateful for the many years of exceptional cartoons and for his singular vision.
