Séamus Power enjoys birdie blitz in his quest to retain PGA Tour card

Séamus Power made six birdies in his last 11 holes as he continued his battle to keep his PGA Tour card at the Sanderson Farms Championship in Mississippi.

The West Waterford man (38) needs to finish the season inside the top 100 in the FedEx Cup Fall standings to be fully exempt in 2026, while a move into the top 125 would give him conditional status.

At 130th in the standings, Power has just four events remaining after this week to make the leap, and he made a move in the right direction last night when he carded a five-under 67 at the Country Club of Jackson.
