Foxconn India CEO Robert Wu met Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on October 5 to discuss the company’s ongoing operations and expansion plans in the state.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister welcomed Foxconn’s industrial activities at its Devanahalli facility and assured Wu of full government support for the unit’s growth and future investments, a statement from CMO said.

Industries Minister MB Patil said the Devanahalli facility is the company’s second-largest unit and a key supplier to Apple. “Foxconn has invested around Rs 22,000 crore in Karnataka so far,” he said.

The meeting, held at the Chief Minister’s official residence Cauvery, was attended by Ministers Priyank Kharge, Sharan Prakash Patil, KH Muniyappa, and senior officials of the Industries Department.
