COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 38-year-old man was arrested after a deadly shooting early Sunday in west Columbus, police said.
Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called around 12:30 a.m. to a home in the 100 block of Hayden Avenue in Franklinton on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found 29-year-old O'Shay White-Foster suffering from a gunshot wound.
White-Foster was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical, life-threatening condition and was pronounced dead at 2:48 a.m., police said.
According to Franklin County Municipal Court records, witnesses said a man was punched by White-Foster and another suspect, later identified as Marqwan Foster. The man said he defended himself after a gun was brought into the fight, police said.
