Bhubaneswar: In a fresh move, the Odisha Crime Branch on Sunday raided a fake online test centre in Bhubaneswar as part of its investigation into the police sub-inspector (SI) recruitment examination scam.

As per sources, the raid was conducted at the fake test centre located at Raghunathpur in Nandankanan area of the capital city following a specific information. ADVERTISEMENT

Acting on a tip-off, the Crime Branch sleuths carried out intensive searches after they received information that deals related to the recruitment process were being made at the test centre.

While the Crime Branch is yet to disclose the ownership of the examination centre, investigation is currently in progress to ascertain the nature of activities that took place in the building.
