Hamas will face “complete obliteration” if it does not cede power and control in Gaza as per his peace plan, US President Donald Trump warned before the deadline ends at 6 pm (Washington time) on Sunday. Trump's latest warning comes just 12 hours ahead of the deadline expires.

When asked by CNN on Saturday whether Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu supports halting the bombing in Gaza and aligns with the US’s broader peace efforts, Donald Trump responded, "Yes on Bibi".

In the interview, which aired on Sunday, Trump further said he expects to learn soon whether Hamas is genuinely committed to pursuing peace.

On Friday, Trump asked the Palestinian terrorist group to reach a peace deal with Israel by Sunday, 6 pm, warning that otherwise all hell will break out.
