Colorado football coach Deion Sanders announced after the Buffaloes' 35-21 loss to TCU on Oct. 4 that he is still dealing with serious health issues this season.
Sanders said he thinks there are more blood clots in his leg despite undergoing multiple surgeries for the issue in the past few years. He told reporters after the game that he has been dealing with significant pain, which was asked about as he was seen on the sideline wearing one shoe and sitting down at times.
“I think I got more blood clots,” Sanders said after the game. “Cat’s out of the bag, all right? I think I got more blood clots. It don’t make sense. I’m hurting like crazy.”
Sanders is also recovering from bladder cancer, which the third-year Colorado coach announced in July. His bladder was removed and he said
