One person was arrested after a crash in St. Joseph County.

A police officer was going south on Ironwood on Saturday night, Oct. 4, when another vehicle tried to turn onto Dunn Road, but it crashed into the officer.

The driver sped off but was later found in a home close by.

Police believe the suspect had alcohol on them.

The officer was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
