The River Road Shopping Center in Bergen County sold for $14 million earlier this year, with 92,523 square feet of prime retail space on 6.45 acres.

The Goldstein Group brokered the sale of the shopping center at 17-77 River Road, Fair Lawn, according to the group’s statement .

The name of the buyer wasn’t disclosed.

“The purchaser has plans to reposition the former ShopRite space for a new use,” Marc Palestina, vice president at Goldstein, said in a statement.

The three-building shopping center was built in 1962, and the ShopRite supermarket, constructed in the 1990s, shuttered in 2023.

ShopRite then relocated to a larger facility on Maple Avenue in Fair Lawn.
