The iconic Ono's Pizza spot near the Lake Street Beach has been reactivated.

New owners Johnny Davis and Allison Black have opened Beach Box at 720 N. Lake St. They're billing it as "Miller Beach’s Newest Old Dive Bar" and a "tiki punk rock dive bar."

"The whole community has marveled at the transformation," Davis said.

It serves cocktails just a block from the beach, doubling as a hot dog stand to capitalize on the beach traffic.

The bar serves beach-themed drinks including tiki drinks, frozen daiquiris, Appletinis, Cosmopolitans, Mai Tais and Hurricanes. Food options include Chicago dog, a Detroit-style Coney Dog and a Cincinnati-style chili dog similar to Skyline's.
