'Derelict' building on Stapleton Road is up for auction after plan approved View 3 Images

A "derelict" former bookies on a busy Bristol shopping street is set to go under the hammer. The site at 250 Stapleton Road in Easton , which used to house a William Hill branch, is being auctioned off with a guide price of £250,000.

Although the building has fallen into something of a state of disrepair having been unoccupied for a number of years, auctioneers Hollis Morgan said it represented a good investment opportunity.

Planning permission was granted in February to turn the three-storey building into a retail space and two flats.
