Nick Woltemade has become only the third player to score in each of their first three home Premier League matches for Newcastle.
The German striker continued his scoring streak against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Woltemade added to Bruno Guimaraes' opener rifled a penalty into the top corner to the delight of the St. James' Park crowd.
It adds to the club record signing's previous strikes against Wolves and Arsenal last month.
The 23-year-old also found the target in Wednesday's Champions League victory over Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium.
