A mass shooting happened late Saturday night in downtown Montgomery with 14 injured and two dead.

The event occurred around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, near the intersection of Bibb and Commerce streets when shots were fired between two parties in the middle of a large crowd.

The area is cleared as of Sunday morning.
