UPDATE: Chattanooga's new school zone traffic cameras activate Monday, kicking off the 30-day warning period, the Chattanooga Police Department says.

These cameras are located near Orchard Knob Elementary School and Brainerd High School.

After the 30-day warning period, speed violators will have to pay a $50 fine.

The city also installed five "smart" streetlights for pedestrian crosswalks.
