Bengaluru: The state-wide Social and Educational Survey being conducted by the Karnataka State Backward Classes Commission has so far covered 76.23 percent of the total households across the state. The Commission on Sunday released fresh statistics showing that the survey has already recorded data of over 4.10 crore people.
According to the data, a total of 1,43,77,978 households are to be surveyed across the state. On Sunday alone, enumerators completed the survey of 6,77,647 households, taking the total number of surveyed families to 1,09,60,855, covering 4,10,89,916 individuals.
Within the jurisdiction of the Greater Bengaluru Metropolitan Area, there are 39,82,335 households, of which 1,19,477 have been surveyed so far. The detailed breakup includes 14,288 households in the Central
