The Ultimate universe's version of Wolverine 's most powerful weapon has the potential to kill its timeline's biggest villain. Thanks to the Maker's influence on Earth-6160 , all heroes live through a darker reality than they were originally supposed to. As usual, Wolverine can't catch a break, as even though he shakes off his Winter Soldier programming, he has to witness his mutant allies get slaughtered.

One of the few upsides of the second Ultimate universe is that Sabretooth isn't a bloodthirsty criminal. In fact, Victor Creed plays a key role in helping Logan recover his memories and join the Opposition. Wolverine may still resent Sabretooth for not killing him while he was brainwashed, but Sabretooth may have just gifted him the key to atoning for his sins.
