EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- A New Mexico Jersey Mike's franchise owner is dead following a rollover crash early Saturday morning, Oct. 4, in the Town of Mesilla, according to the Mesilla Marshals Office.

At around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, deputies were dispatched after a 911 call informed them that a single vehicle had crashed in a park owned by the Town of Mesilla.

When deputies arrived, they found a white BMW near a water fountain with the driver inside.

The Mesilla Marshals Traffic Investigators determined that the BMW was traveling southbound on Calle De El Paso, approaching Calle Pacana, when the driver failed to turn in the curve, struck the curb and flew airborne into the park. The car overturned three times on the lawn before it came to rest upright near the water fountain.
