GREENSBORO, N.C. — North Carolina A&T football coach Shawn Gibbs is trending across social media after a fiery press conference on October 1, where he called out his team’s performance and dropped a reference to rapper NBA YoungBoy that quickly went viral.

“If someone came in our locker room before the game, oh they'd be in trouble when they in there listening to that NBA YoungBoy oh man we're tough, but once the game starts, where does all that go? Where does all that go? You have to play the game. When that guy in the white hat puts the ball down, it's time to go. What are you going to do then?” Gibbs asked, echoing frustration shared by fans of the once-dominant Aggies.
