Italian carrier Neos has suspended its Amritsar-Milan-Toronto route indefinitely due to "international geopolitical instability," which has caused bookings to plummet. As a result, low load factors have made the route economically unsustainable, so Neos will now be absent from Canada entirely pending further notice.
The airline made its entrance to the transatlantic market less than four years ago with a direct service between Milan Malpensa Airport (MPX) and New York JFK International Airport (JFK) launching in November 2021, served by its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner fleet.
