WARDEN, Wash. – A large commercial onion storage building caught fire at around 8:24 a.m. Sunday.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) first shared on social media that several agencies were enroute to a commercial structure fire on Road U-SE and First Street North, but there was no danger to the public.
GCSO said the fire was under control at around 9:40 a.m.
“The fire is deep within the building and the building is unstable,” GCSO wrote. “Firefighters are not entering the building, but rather throwing water from aerial trucks.”
