Ike Turner Jr., the son of Tina Turner and Ike Turner Sr., has died at age 67.

Ike Jr. died Saturday at a Los Angeles hospital from kidney failure, Tina’s niece, Jacquline Bullock, told TMZ .

Bullock said Ike Jr. battled “severe heart issues” for years and suffered a stroke early last month.

In a statement to Page Six , Bullock said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my cousin, Ike Turner, Jr. ‘Junior’ was more than a cousin to me, but rather a brother, as we grew up in the same famed household together.”
