Police again plead with Delaware County residents to lock their vehicle doors

Thieves rummaging through unlocked vehicles and taking items, and sometimes stealing the vehicles, continues to be a major problem in Delaware County.

Nether Providence Township police said there is a simple fix to most of the problem: Lock your vehicles. Police issued the graphic and added this (emphasis theirs):

“Springfield Twp. has reported 4 stolen vehicles and numerous UNLOCKED cars have been entered over the past week. Once again, we remind you to please LOCK YOUR CARS! 🚗 If you see anyone suspicious in your area(s), please call 911 immediately.”
