HOUSTON (KIAH) — Former Texas City commissioner Dee Ann Haney is headed to prison.
On Friday night, a judge revoked Haney's probation for a 2017 crash that killed a father and son.
Haney, 62, was arrested for DWI last year just months after her conviction. She told police that she was chasing three people who attacked her at a park that night.
Prosecutors say she also hasn't been keeping up with her community service requirements.
Haney is on probation following two convictions last year for criminally negligent homicide in the 2017 deaths of Hong Phuc Le and Duoc Van Le. Haney was indicted for manslaughter after striking the victims, who were outside their stopped vehicle, as she drove on I-45 near the causeway.
