BROSSARD – The Canadiens made five roster moves following the conclusion of training camp on Sunday.

The team announced that forwards Owen Beck and Florian Xhekaj as well as defenseman Adam Engstrom have been loaned to the Laval Rocket in the American Hockey League.

Forward Samuel Blais and goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen will also be placed on waivers at 2:00 p.m.

The Canadiens practice Monday and Tuesday at the CN Sports Complex in Brossard before opening the regular season in Toronto on Wednesday.
