TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A man has been arrested for murder after he told police he shot the his victim.
According to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office’s Violent Crimes Unit (VCU), the Tuscaloosa Police Department responded to reports of a shooting around 10:50 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4.
Police responded to the 3400 block of Greensboro Avenue, the same storage unit facility that a 28-year-old woman, Autumn Mack, was shot and killed at in April 2025 .
According to law enforcement, the storage units are rented out to people and businesses and are often used during late night hours for informal gatherings.
Police say they arrived and found one man dead. The victim was identified as 37-year-old Keeondray Sterling.
