Pune ( Maharashtra ) [India], October 5 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday said that a decision will be made soon to support farmers affected by heavy rains.
"We had asked for aid to the farmer through FRP, but some sugar factory owners opposed us. Now, some sugar factories are cutting the sugarcane of the farmer, and we should pay attention to them... Our city faced such heavy rain. Our farmers are in a disaster. Some people want to politicise this disaster... We will soon make a decision in the interest of farmers," CM said.
Earlier today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah assured that the government would provide all necessary help to the farmers of Maharashtra affected by the recent rains, which have led to crop losses.
Speaking at the inauguration of th
