Erling Haaland has credited becoming a father with his stunning scoring form at the start of the new season.

The Manchester City striker was on target once again as they beat Brentford on Sunday.

Haaland's first half effort proved to be the winner as Pep Guardiola's side secured a 1-0 victory at the Gtech Community Stadium.

It is already the Norwegian's ninth goal in just seven Premier League matches so far this term.

Meanwhile, he has scored 12 times across all competitions for City this campaign.

Following his latest strike, Haaland admitted he has 'never felt better' amid his scoring streak.

The 25-year-old put his form down to becoming a dad for the first time last year.

Haaland and his girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen welcomed the birth of their son in December.
