Baton Rouge Police are investigating a shooting in north Baton Rouge that left a 17-year-old dead Saturday night.

Police say Micah Booker, 17, was shot near the intersection of Scenic Highway and Harding Boulevard around 10:20 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to a hospital where he died from his injury, police say.

Police did not release any information on a possible suspect, and are asking a nyone who may have information on the shooting to contact the BRPD Homicide Division (225) 389-4869 or Capital Region Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-STOP.
