NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - This Tuesday, Tennesseans will find out who will be selected to run in the Special General Election for the U.S. House of Representatives for the 7th Congressional District.

Since Sept. 17 through Oct. 2, Tennesseans in District 7 have gotten the chance to participate in early voting across Middle Tennessee, including Wayne, Perry, Decatur, Hickman, Dickson, Humphreys, Houston, Cheatham, Robertson, Montgomery, and Stewart Counties, as well as parts of Davidson, Williamson, and Benton Counties.

As candidates continue to fight to stay in the race, some have dropped out as a result of President Trump’s endorsement.

On Friday, Matt Van Epps received an endorsement from President Donald Trump.
