As both sides of the National League Division Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs play their cards close to their vests, the wait for more Jackson Chourio news will have to wait until Game 2 arrives on Oct. 6.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy indicated that Chourio remains day-to-day on the team’s off-day Sunday, Oct. 5, saying the outfielder would undergo tests in the field during the club’s workout.

“I can't give you a definitive, but I know that we're going to test some things today,” Murphy said. “He's going to be out there today. I don't know that he'll do much, but the MRI came back and it's inconclusive. It's not a serious hamstring strain, but it's not necessarily something that won't limit him.
