Srinagar, Oct 05: The Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested a 26-year-old man accused of providing logistical support to the terrorists involved in the deadly April 22 Pahalgam attack that killed 26 people, mostly tourists.

The breakthrough came after investigators traced a damaged Android phone charger, recovered from the site of a July encounter, to Mohammad Yousuf Katari, a resident of the outskirts of Srinagar, officials said on Sunday.

Katari was arrested in the last week of September following a weeks-long investigation under Operation Mahadev, a counter-terror operation launched in the Zabarwan foothills near Srinagar.
