The Edmonton Oilers are set to be shorthanded for their season-opener against the Calgary Flames on Wednesday.
Defenceman Jake Walman is questionable to suit up for the opener, while forward Mattias Janmark is slated to miss one to two weeks, Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch told reporters on Sunday.
