SANTEE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- One person was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at a DUI checkpoint in Santee over the weekend, authorities said. • The FOX 5/KUSI video above provides driving safety tips

According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, officers conducted the roadblock in the 9200 block of Carlton Hills Boulevard from 8 p.m. on Saturday to 2:30 a.m. on Sunday.

A total of 863 vehicles traveled through the checkpoint, with 30 undergoing a secondary evaluation. Authorities said three motorists conducted field sobriety tests, with just one driver arrested.
