Surveillance video in Westchester shows huge crowd during street takeover

Surveillance video from a home in Westchester captured several people outside during a street takeover.

The incident happened early Sunday morning at Northwest 72nd Avenue and 12th Street.

In the home surveillance video, a huge crowd was seen running outside the home and through the neighborhood as several cruisers arrived in the area with their sirens activated.

Video from another takeover in Northwest Miami-Dade Saturday night shows several cars racing down the street, and moments later, officers were seen arriving.

Locals in the area said that street takeovers have become a problem.

"Last night, when I left work, when I got off 12th Street, there was a big ole' truck doing donuts on the street," said a man.
