Two people involved in a head-on vehicle crash at 1:36 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, on Bonniebrook Road were taken to hospitals to be treated for injuries.

State police said Toni Yakemik, 38, of Avonmore, the passenger in a Toyota RAV4, was taken from the crash by air rescue to a hospital for treatment on a suspected serious injury to her left leg. The driver, Pamela Yakemik, 61, of Avonmore, was not injured. The driver of the other vehicle, a Dodge Challenger, William Shick, 70, of Butler, was also transported by ambulance to a hospital for suspected minor injury.
