We're mixing up things this week, with one subtle change.

The regular Watertown Public Opinion/Aberdeen News Athlete of the Week poll is being changed this week. The poll instead will be asking voters to decide who the Midseason Football Player of the Year is in northeastern South Dakota. The list includes 14 candidates.

Now it's your turn to decide. Voting, as usual, will remain open until midnight on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025 .
