EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – After outscoring their opponents 12-1 over the course of a three-game Big Ten winning streak, the Michigan State women's soccer team drew 1-1 against Ohio State on Sunday afternoon.

Despite 22 shots, and seven of those shots on goal, the Spartans were unable to break through Ohio State's back line and goalkeeper, Molly Pritchard. Ohio State had not conceded a goal since August 31st, until Michigan State junior midfielder Bella Najera ended that streak in the second half.

After going down 1-0 at halftime, Najera evened things up with 30 minutes to go in the second half. Despite many opportunities to take the lead after Najera's equalizer, the Spartans were unable to finish those chances.
