HARRIS COUNTY – A Precinct 4 deputy helped rescue a burn victim from a house fire in north Harris County Saturday, officials said.

Constable Mark Herman’s office reported that deputies and Little York Fire & Rescue crews responded to a fire in the 16300 block of Green Shade Drive.

During the response, one deputy assisted a burn victim out of the residence, officials said. The individual was treated at the scene by EMS.

No additional details about the victim’s condition or the cause of the fire were immediately available.
