Much lighter winds were in place this morning, bringing a near picture-perfect setup for Day 2 of Balloon Fiesta. Winds are also lighter this afternoon and evening, too.

Another box effect is likely on Monday morning. A backdoor cold front will start moving into New Mexico from the northeast, bringing rain chances back to the northern and eastern parts of the state. Rain chances increase across most of New Mexico on Tuesday and Wednesday as the cold front moves across the state, again bringing cooler temperatures. Mornings still look quiet, though, for Mass Ascension.
