Rugby league royalty Wally Lewis has turned heads off the field - this time in Brisbane's bayside - after being spotted inspecting a luxury coastal home in Wynnum over the NRL Grand Final weekend.
The Queensland legend, affectionately known as "The King," was seen at 50 Prospect Street, Wynnum , a high-end coastal property listed with Karen Chappell of Place Bulimba, just hours before the NRL Grand Final kicked off.
Locals were delighted when the Maroons icon and his wife joined the Saturday open home, spending more than an hour touring the property and taking in its sweeping ocean views.
"There were about 10 groups through, but everyone's attention was on the stunning views - and of course, Wally and his wife," Ms Chappell said. "He was so friendly, chatting to everyone and soaking u
