The Seahawks started Sunday's game against the Buccaneers with four players out due to injury, three of them being defensive starters, outside linebacker DeMarcus Lawrence and Pro-Bowl defensive backs Julian Love and Devon Witherspoon.

Things got worse on the injury front for Seattle early in the game, with outside linebacker Derick Hall exiting with an oblique injury, after which he was quickly ruled out. Not long after that, starting cornerback Riq Woolen suffered a concussion, leaving the Seahawks without three starters in their secondary and two of their top edge defenders.
