A Southwest Philadelphia church will be demolished after the roof and side bearing wall collapsed on Sunday night.
A spokesperson for the Department of Licenses and Inspections said the Christian Union Church near 56th Street and Woodland Avenue will be demolished on Monday after the collapse.
It's unclear what led to the collapse. No one was injured in the incident.
L&I said that all the utilities to the building have been secured and that part of Woodland Avenue near the church in Southwest Philly is currently closed.
A fence has currently been set up around the church before the demolition.
