The Pittsburgh Steelers’ game in Dublin, Ireland, at Croke Park against the Minnesota Vikings saw a positive economic impact during the week.

The crowd, which consisted of 35 percent Americans, 30 percent Irish citizens, and 35 percent of fans from the rest of the world, surged spending in the Dublin city centre.

According to RTE, the city centre saw a spending hike of 57 percent while health and beauty spas saw a surge to 72 percent of normal times during the week.

Year over year, there were total spikes across the entire city by as high as 12 percent, with restaurants seeing a strong rise in a 20 percent spending spike year over year.
